DEARhealth is a pioneering digital health platform that revolutionizes patient care through personalized, data-driven treatment plans. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, DEARhealth develop tailored care pathways that address individual health needs with precision and efficiency.

My Role

From the outset of the process, I'm involved in research, user flows, and wireframes, ensuring a solid foundation for the project. As it progresses, I'm responsible for developing high-fidelity prototypes and provide continuous support throughout the development phase. Additionally, I create and maintain the Design System and Feature Documentation, enabling seamless communication and consistency across the design journey.

 

My holistic involvement ensures that every project is thoughtfully crafted, user-centric, and achieves its intended objectives.

Project Process - Care Pathway

1. Project Goals:

The Practitioner Platform initially incorporated an interface for the Care Pathway feature, allowing the care team to visualize planned patient activities based on health scenarios. However, the existing interface appeared outdated, leading to user confusion regarding the sequence of activities and overall patient progression. We needed a way to enhance the activities visibility and understanding.

2. Analysis and Research:

Once we had our problem defined, I started the alignments with the business and dev team to ensure the next steps can flow on a seamless way and everyone is at the same page. After that I took a look on the screens we already have and did a Heuristic Evaluation to have a better understanding of what we should work on. Then started sketching the user flow and matching the information we had from our users.

By following this workflow, we gained a comprehensive understanding of each potential user step, providing valuable insights that will serve as a roadmap for the screen design process. Additionally, I conducted thorough research on how other software solutions approach timeline activities features. This exploration not only sparked innovative ideas but also deepened my knowledge of industry best practices, further enriching our approach to this aspect of the project.

3.Sketches and ideas

When I had gathered and connected the data, I started the ideation process. So, I began with some hand sketches and used them to once again bring the teams together and validate our approach.

4.Prototyping and Testing

After receiving validation from the business team, confirming that the feature redesign aligned with our objectives, and securing approval from the development team on its feasibility, I initiated the creation of a high-fidelity prototype. This process adhered meticulously to our established Design System.

5.Final validation

Upon completion of the High Fidelity prototype, we initiated both internal and external validation processes to assess its alignment with our goals. The response to the new UI was overwhelmingly positive, with users expressing eagerness to integrate it into the system. They perceived a lot of potential and their expectations were exceeded, leaving users highly impressed with the enhancements.
